I am so sorry - meant t comment WEEKS ago. I LOVE this piece. I think the more blocky and impressionistic style is gorgeous. It gives off such an amazing aura and vitality to it. The movement is wonderful.
Oooh, really pretty and really surreal. I like Snow leopards happen to be my favorite of the big cats, though I'm not sure "big" really fits the bill for these kitties. I like the way you kept the leopard the most detailed, it anchors it at the focal point.
I've been giving it some thought lately and I've been trying to break down my style to categorize it, but for this one I suppose it's a bit of realism mixed with soft painted and Full-Ill. Usually I tell people to send me what they've got in mind and I try to work through how much time it's going to take etc. It's so varied it's really difficult to sort them into categories.
For Soft-painted I think I'd categorize that as around 5 hours max for time spent. For a full Ill I'd say around 10 hours. Realism is up in the air depending on time I think. Block of teeeexxxt D:
Thanks C:> I've been going through a kind of style crisis based off what I've been learning in class. Just simple stuff that you see Pyle and Dunn doing in their work. They make the silouhette work, their values are perfect and then there's almost no detail anywhere else. Just painting stuff in general D: Sure, there's a novelty to realism, but it's just icing on the cake. The composition has to be solid etc. D: IDK
