That's some hell of a design. I like how you handled things in this one, but one wing looks bigger than another. Does the original design really has that?

That's definitely on hell of a chimera, gives a new definition to "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Though it is really beautiful, in its own peculiar way. I like it.

Unusual design - but I really like it! The wing movement is spectacular. (I think I tend to draw them too detailed and cluttered...think I might try your system next time...) Lovely anatomy, too - and correct, which must've been a beast, because it's a whole lot of animals...plus a person. XD
And my computer still hates those texture websites...which is sad, because I love the ones you use...

Still use Lost&Taken CX They're the best. I think I got a couple halftone and things off of media militia. And thanks! The wings were pretty difficult. I sketched over them a few times before I was satisfied lol I ended up going with hawk feather structure, which in my mind is easier to draw than vulture lol

Sounds like great resources! And I'm known to do several drafts of type. Though I'm not knowledgeable enough in wing and feather structure to make that decision. Though, if it were dog or canine related, I could do that! It's such an awesome piece.
