Really BP xD You need to hush sometimes. I really like this background and character, it speaks more like a design. Your self criticism is cute although unnecessary. Only thing I might say is that the lower legs don't have shadow cast in them, although the picture is rich in shadow. Good points are that you use interesting perspectives, such as the angles of trees and grass, relatively fresh canine poses, and a type of conservative detailing that actually creates more. Such as a few points: The shine dot on the nose. The delicate leafings of the cheek fur, contrasted by a warm silence of colors in the ear. The casual but rich blend of one color to the next. The blue contrast silhouette outlining the dog's fur. The transition of fur to shade on the thigh to leg. Although you may trip yourself up for things, your pictures generally lend to a blast of insight, something very new in brilliance. I hope you don't use your self criticism for compliments. It's just general knowledge that you can know when you see focus and vision.

Nah :\ I just generally am never happy with how something turns out. I know I could do a lot better, but I'm laaazzzzyyyy My BIGGEST flaw SO it leads to rather destructive self confidence D: But I do like the way I got the fur detail in the end, but NOT how I have a distinct LACK of shadow. I'm surprised you saw so many interesting things in a rather uneventful piece. I don't think I'll ever be happy with my crap until I get some decent foreshortening in there D: Until that happens, I'll just try harder. Also, thanks for caring enough to write me a critique That's pretty cool. I really wasn't expecting it on something I drew for someone else
