okay... I'll stop posting the same pic >< but i dunno if it looks better with the lightning or w/o, I tihnk it makes it look really cheezy X(

 I'm sure that the lightning must have taken a gratuitous amount of effort, but I am compelled to say that this version is far superior, in my mind, to the other two. The detail is stunning and the clouds look very realistic (if not stylized a tad,) but I would ask the artist (if he/she hasn't commented already) on which is his/her favorite. So, as stated, this one is the one that I enjoy the most, so it will be the one which will be

The lightning was just way too cheap, if I do say so myself <3 -- "Did you wash your hands?" "No! Cause I'm evil!" "You're a bigger fool than I thought." "Oh yeah! Well you're...naked!" "That's a giant dinosaur!" "And I thought Master Bruce was the detective."  i do agree. i like this one better. the lightning just seems unnecessary. or maybe it's just the bolt that's in the front. your attention is drawn to that one more than anything else. if your focus is the dragon and you want some lightning, you need to move the one in the front more to the back and make it smaller. kind of like your other one. you'll really have to play around with placement and angle and such.
